The admission-free Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Exploration Center, located across the street from the Santa Cruz Wharf and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, offers a window into the local marine environment. The center provides visitors with an opportunity to learn more about the habitat of the marine sanctuary through interactive exhibits, video kiosks and a demonstration of the Monterey Submarine Canyon.
