All Buffy, all the time

By Jessica Lyons

AS LONG as there have been demons, there has been the Slayer. One chosen girl, born to hunt vampires and other creatures of the night--clad in platforms and red leathers, no less. Unless you've been hiding out in a crypt, you know we're talking about Sunnydale's own Buffy Summers.

For Buffy enthusiasts and newcomers alike, there's www.buffy.com, a step-by-step guide to all that is Buffy--without the sidesplitting dialogue. One could conceivably not watch a single episode of the WB's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, hop on over to buffy.com, and come away spouting Sunnydale factoids and slayerspeak with the best of 'em.

Visitors to this comprehensive site will find The Bronze chat room (the online version of the Scooby gang's fave hangout), an online interactive game and store, links to star bios and postcards, and The Bestiary, complete with pictures and tasty morsels of all the vamps and demons. The library includes volumes of knowledge about demon mythology, vampire lore, Buffy FAQs and Sunnydale history. And the mortuary--past episode summaries and video trailers from seasons I to IV--is to die for.

Hard-core fans will love the Slayer's Circle, an email list of news, photos and "personal" messages from the cast. Like the Slayer herself, this site kicks ass.
