Every Crown Bookstore has a tree decorated with white paper angels representing children in need. Shoppers are encouraged to buy a book for an angel to help promote literacy for these children. Through Dec. Crown Books, various locations throughout the South Bay (714/379-3922).
A local trauma surgeon has collected 150 refurbished bicycles for needy children and hopes to gather more, along with bike helmets for safe riding. This donation is tax-deductible.
