Gyms and Fitness Clubs
By John Yewell
SUMMER'S OVER, so a lot of folks are thinking they can put off getting in shape until spring. That's great exercise for the procrastination muscle, but the rest of the body is getting nowhere. Yeah, yeah, I can hear the moans now--you've heard the spiel before. Fine. Wanna be a slob the rest of your life? Be my guest. But where I work out, 94-year-old Peter is a regular, and he's not the only grandparent in the place. So what was that excuse again? You forgot? I thought so.
The good news is that there are plenty of great clubs and private trainers to choose from. And if guilt doesn't work, the satisfaction of looking your best and feeling great will keep you coming back. Do it for your loved ones. They'd like to keep you around as long as possible.
