Earth Day Events Earth Day 2000 Festival The community faire features two stages with bands and speakers, a Zero-Waste Demonstration Arena, the Solarific Kid's Zone, environmental resource booths and vendors selling food and sustainably made crafts. Earth Day Activism Workshops As part of the Earth Day 2000 Festival, CALPIRG presents multiple workshops with topics ranging from environmental journalism to nonviolent resistance. Earth Day Environmentalism The Zero Waste Demonstration Arena in San Lorenzo Park aims to educate people on home composting, worm composting, green building, computer recycling and waste-reduction programs.
