The SCPD is investigating a double homicide at a lower Ocean apartment complex at Canfield Avenue and Barson Street on Saturday. It was the second and third murder in Santa Cruz so far in 2010. The victims were Mexican immigrants between the ages of 18 and 21. No motive has yet been identified for the killing, which occurred at a social gathering, but police say that they do not believe that it was gang-motivated. Read more at KSBW and KION.
