Forget about ski or stockings masks. The new attire for Santa Cruz bank robbers seems to be casual beachwear. Police report that the man who robbed the Chase Bank on Ocean Street yesterday was dressed in a printed T-shirt, tan shorts, a baseball cap and flip flops. The suspect, a man in his late twenties or early thirties, handed the teller a threatening note. Police have yet to disclose how much cash was taken. Read more at KCBA.
