What do you do for a living?
I make business deals centered on real estate.

Any kind of problem solving business related deal is a pleasure for me.

I boogie board at Steamer Lane. I read. I read. I read.

What brought you to Santa Cruz?
I was born here on January 3, 1943 and think it is the best place ever for people, waves, intellectual ferment.

What’s your favorite street?
West Cliff Drive.

I have started to work out almost daily at Studio 831 on Mission Street.

At age 68, I do not have total recall of names and dates like I used to.

What are you reading?
The Tolstoy Of The Zulus by Stephen Kessler and An Ideal Wine by David Darlington and The Hare With The Amber Eyes by Edmund de Waal and The Lies Of Sarah Palin by Geoffrey Dunn.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned in the last three years?
Everything is unfolding just as it should be.
