Santa Cruz Police are investigating the sexual assault of a 69-year-old woman that took place in her home early Wednesday morning. According to the victim, her assailant broke into her West Cliff Drive home at about 6am, bound her, gagged her, beat her, and sexually assaulted her. He is said to have worn a ski mask, and there is no indication as to where or how he fled. The woman, who later managed to free herself, drove to a friend’s house to report the incident and is reportedly in stable condition. Specialists from the Department of Justice have been asked by the police to assist in the investigation. Read More at Fox 35
