It’s been two and a half months since Elias Sorokin was murdered near Santa Cruz in an apparent drug deal gone bad. His truck has been found and two suspects are in jail, but police have yet to find Sorokin’s body. According to police, “The search area is so broad, it’s difficult to even pin down a large area.” With no help from the suspects, they are left to rely on tips and leads. They even asked firefighters to keep an eye out for his remains as they fought the Lockheed fire last month, but no clues were found. As of now, the only hope is that the two suspects, Adam Hunt and Stewart Skuba, provide the much-needed tip, perhaps as part of some plea-bargain. And the DA’s office says that the case against them is moving forward. Read more at the Santa Cruz Sentinel.
