There’s a new website in Santa Cruz where residents can do everything from pay their parking tickets to apply for city jobs and find the nearest public restroom downtown. They can also find out about the history of the city and interact with police, councilmembers and city employees. Those who plan on staying in Santa Cruz for the long haul can even check out the city’s General Plan Update 2030. And all the while they can check out pictures, though the photo gallery still has a way to go before it becomes a leading attraction (judging from it at present, Santa Cruz has just three attractions: its beaches, its lawn bowling teams and its police).
