Santa Cruz residents waiting to get the H1N1 vaccine will have another chance on Saturday at the Santa Cruz Health Center on Emeline Ave. The clinic has received 1,000 doses of the vaccine, and will be offering them to the public between 2pm and 8pm. People requesting the vaccine will be screened to ensure that they fall into one of the vulnerable target groups, including young people under age 24, pregnant women, health care workers, people caring for infants under six months of age, and people with pre-existing conditions that put them at risk. Another 14,000 doses of the vaccine are expected to arrive in the county next week. Read More at KSBW.
