After being closed for almost two weeks following the tsunami, Santa Cruz harbor reopened to boat traffic as of 8am this morning. Authorities say that no submerged boats remain, and any other obstacles around the damaged U-dock have been clearly marked. As such, they pose no threat to traffic in the harbor’s main channel.
