The SCPD is still searching for a man who held up a Westside branch of Comerica Bank on Wednesday. According to police spokesman Zach Friend, the man walked into the bank around noon and handed the teller a note demanding cash. There was no threat of violence in the note, and the man was not seen to be holding a weapon. Police dogs, which arrived at the scene, were able to track him to Bellevue Street before they lost his scent.

This was the second time the bank was robbed this summer.html. In June the same branch was robbed by the environmentally conscious Kent Lee Maddox, 44, who famously fled the scene by bike.
