Police are investigating the theft of valuables from unlocked cars in Santa Cruz’s Westside. About 15 robberies were reported in a spree that lasted from Tuesday to Friday. According to Sergeant Scott Garner, a car was also stolen during that time, but police do not yet know whether that crime is connected to the robberies.
