Some people love the Yellow Pages, but others either don’t use them, have a recent one and don’t need a new one or don’t want the additional recycling responsibility. The Yellow Pages Association has a Consumer Choice website where you can opt out of receiving the Yellow Pages and also get information on the proper way to recycle them:

The three publishers distributing phone directories in Santa Cruz County are AT&T (which delivers the books each May), Yellow Book USA (July) and Valley Yellow Pages (September). The individual opt-out information for each of those is as follows:
