Capitola officials who charge the city for meal reimbursements will have to start cutting back. The city is reducing the amount it will reimburse employees for meals when traveling on business. Currently, the city covers up to $60 per day on meal reimbursements, with half of that going to dinner. According to the new rules, reimbursements will only be paid for meals consumed during travel requiring an overnight stay.
