Police round up suspects after months-long investigation of another homeless man’s stabbing.

Local police have made a series of arrests in the gang-related murder of a homeless man in late April. The suspects are another homeless man, Jose Carrillo, 40, and 6 teens, ranging in age from 12 to 19. The five eldest teens will be charged as adults, while a fourteen-year-old who is believed to have served as a looked and a twelve-year-old suspected of witness intimidation will be charged in Juvenile Court. Police say that the arrests have effectively shut down the gang, with only a few remaining members at large.
