The final figures are in for the Halloween bash that took place on Pacific Street this past Sunday. About 20,000 people, in costume and in street clothes, are believed to have attended the unofficial celebration, with a maximum of about 15,000 people on the street at midnight. During the course of the event, 110 police officers and security guards arrested or ticketed about 40 people for public intoxication, carrying alcohol in an open container, and public urination. Another 33 arrests were made throughout the city for a variety of crimes, including driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.
