First City Festival returns to Monterey this summer with Beck, The National, Phantogram and The Naked and Famous headlining.
The two-day First City Festival held at the bucolic Monterey County Fair and Event Center on August 23-24 will feature three stages of performances, a Vaudeville-style variety stage and a full carnival with rides and games.
New this year, a Craft-beer and Wine garden, featuring California wines, gourmet food vendors and a vinyl record marketplace curated by Beat Swap Meet.
First City Festival is the only U.S. festival to host the Unique USA Marketplace, a marketplace featuring hand-made couture by independent designers.
Last year, the inaugural First City Festival brought Passion Pit, MGMT and Modest Mouse to the coastal city, drawing more than 10,000 attendees each day.
