Santa Cruz police announced that a pot deal gone bad is behind the disappearance of Elias Sorokin, 29.

Santa Cruz police announced that a pot deal gone bad is behind the disappearance of Elias Sorokin, 29. Two men, Kenneth Clamp, 29, and Stewart Skuba, 31, have been arrested in what police are now calling a homicide. A third suspect, Adam Hunt, 29, turned himself in on Saturday.

Sorokin’s truck was discovered last Tuesday on Empire Grade Road in Bonny Doon, though his body has yet to be found. According to police, Sorokin had arranged with the men to sell the men marijuana, and a meeting was arranged at a Santa Cruz condominium on Felix Street. For some undisclosed reason, the deal went bad, and Sorokin was killed. The FBI is now investigating the crime scene. Read more at the Santa Cruz Sentinel and Fox 35.
