After two nail-biting championship games – okay, maybe just one – the teams for Super Bowl XLIX have been decided. On Sunday, Santa Cruz will join legions of football fans across America as the country tunes in to watch the Seattle Seahawks go up against the New England Patriots at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. If the Seahawks win, it will be the first time a team has won back-to-back Super Bowls since the Patriots in 2004 and 2005.

But where to watch the Big Game?

In Santa Cruz, restaurants, bars and clubs are gearing up for the big day, clearing off barroom tables and adjusting the reception on their big screen televisions. Below is a selection of top venues in Santa Cruz County to watch the Super Bowl surrounded by new friends and fans.

The Super Bowl will show in the bar on seven big screen TVs and in the larger back lounge on three big screen TVs, including one that has a 110-inch screen. The restaurant serves American Bistro Cuisine with Mediterranean influences, a full bar menu and wood fired pizzettas.
