About Unique Multiples: Teaching with the Parkett Collection from the University of Castilla-La Mancha
Wednesday, October 2, 2019 -- Friday, December 6, 2019
Opening reception: Wed, Oct. 2, 5-7 pm, free and open to the public
The exclusive exhibition features approximately 60 selected works from the Parkett Collection housed at the University of Castilla-La Mancha School of Fine Arts and the Contemporary Art Archives & Collections (CAAC), including experimental objects and artifacts by internationally influential contemporary artists.
Included in this particular selection of the Parkett Collection are works by Ai Weiwei, Cindy Sherman, Andy Warhol, and many other renowned contemporary artists.
The Sesnon Gallery at UC Santa Cruz is the only public educational institution in the United States exhibiting this selection of works from the Parkett Collection donated to UCLM in 2009 by the art collector Helga de Alvear in Madrid.

October 11–12 : Screen printing workshop on multiples with Ry Faraola and students at Baskin Arts Courtyard
October 18–19 : ZineFest and zine workshops on multiples with local professionals and students at Baskin Arts Courtyard
Gallery hours are Tuesday– Saturday noon to 5pm and Wednesdays until 8pm during the academic year or by appointment for special tours.
