Tommy Emmanuel

Tommy Emmanuel is one of Australia's most respected guitarists. The legendary fingerpicker has a professional career that spans nearly five decades around the globe. Beginning his six-string tutelage at the age of four, he was touring professionally by the time he was ten, and was dubbed with the honorary title “Certified Guitar Player” by Chet Atkins. He has gone on to win two Grammys and release over twenty albums and instructional DVDs, all the while perfecting his patent style of acoustic guitar finger-picking and playing over 300 concerts each year. Emmanuel’s latest recording is The Colonel and the Governor, a jazz-inspired collection of duets with like-minded guitar talent Martin Taylor.
