The Road to Reentry

The Road to Reentry Workshop will provide participants with resources and ‘best
practice’ strategies to assist individuals and families in achieving a successful
transition from incarceration, military service, homelessness or other at-risk
circumstances.
Topics will include: Identifying and navigating legal barriers including OTH
discharges, obtaining identification cards, accessing public benefits and
reuniting with family members.
Root & Rebound is a non-profit reentry and legal resource center in Oakland. Their primary
mission is to educate and empower individuals who are transitioning from incarceration back
into their community. This information is equally applicable to individuals who work with at-risk
