The Rivervale Review

“Menage” is a local trio of musicians playing a mix of jazzy instrumentals, Folk and Originals on Mandolin, Guitar and Ukulele. Wendy Treat, a member of Menage, recently held her first CD Release show at Don Quixote's backed by a stellar lineup of local acoustic musicians. The event was so successful and fun that we decided that we needed to have another event to showcase the range of talents within the band. We decided to have a “Revue” style show with individual members, Dan Frechette and Laurel Thomsen, Patti Maxine and “Menage” (Jay Bowyer, Ron Clegg and Wendy Treat) presenting their own choices of numbers and groupings, backed by Terry Shields on Upright Bass, Dave Prentice on Percussion and vocalists Laura Devine Burnett and Tammi Brown. This promises to be an engaging and entertaining evening. For those who missed Wendy's CD release concert, this will provide another chance to enjoy this unique gathering of Santa Cruz musicians.
