Enjoy a moment of family-friendly levity and join the UCSC community in celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day!
Access a streaming of the UC Santa Cruz Opera's 2019 production of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance.
Enjoy the work of student casts and orchestra conducted by Bruce Kiesling and directed by Sheila Willey. With set and lighting design by Dave Dunning of Legend Theatrical, costume design by AAU graduate designer Marisely Cortes, hair and makeup by Santa Cruz Shakespeare's Jessica Carter, and dialect coaching by Allie Pratt (Theater Arts MA '19).
