The Crooked Road Céilí Band ~ First Annual Santa Cruz Mountains Winter Céilí and Set Dance

You are invited to an Irish dance party featuring live traditional music by The Crooked Road Céilí Band at the historic Trout Farm Inn. Set dancing and céilí (pronounced "kay-lee," Irish for "party!") will be called by San Francisco's Michael Murphy. An Irish seisiun hosted by The Crooked Road Céilí Band follows the dancing.

$5 at the door for the dancing and music. Bring the whole family for dinner and stay for a bit of the pure drop! Dance instruction will be given.

The Crooked Road Céilí Band is Julie Horner, David Chadwick, and Ken Bewick playing traditional Irish reels, jigs, polkas, slides, hornpipes, barn dances, slip jigs, and waltzes on the hammered dulcimer, fiddle, tenor banjo, mandolin, guitar, and bodhran. Our instrumentation and interpretation of classic and modern Irish folk music presents a wholly unique groove guaranteed to add lilt and lift to your special occasion!

We specialize in weaving together lovely indigenous Irish folks melodies and Irish and American songs, perfect for intimate acoustic settings.
