Southern Italian Wine Tasting with Pascarosa Food & Wine Tours

Catherine and Brian Faris, Santa Cruz locals and founders of Pascarosa Food and Wine Tours will be here at Soif for a tasting of wines from southern Italy.

The Farises have deep roots in the Valle d’Itria in Puglia. Since their first visit with their three children 22 years ago, they have acquired an olive grove, a home in the centro storico of the baroque town Martina Franca and, yes, a trullo, too. They have become experts in the classic foods and wines of the South, and have even started hosting travelers for "An Insider's Food Tour of Puglia," leading small groups to their favorite places in Italy's best-kept secret paradise. This fall, they are organizing a wine and food focused tour of Puglia with Soif's resident wine geek. Alyssa Twelker, expanding their program to include even more delicious wines.
