Slow Food Santa Cruz Meet the Producer Tasting Event

Staff of Life Natural Foods will host its inaugural “Slow Foods Santa Cruz” a meet the producer tasting event at 1266 Soquel Avenue, Thursday, January 16th from 4:30 to 7:00 pm in our beautiful Café del Sol outside patio.

Cheese Affineurs (Cave Masters) from France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, United Kingdom, and California will represent their respected cheeses in a “meet the producer tasting”. This opportunity to learn firsthand from the affineurs themselves is a rare event.

To impress the affineurs who are traveling long distances, Staff will introduce them to some of the best craft brews Central California has to offer. Breweries include Sante Adarious Rustic Ales, Fruition Brewing, Elkhorn Slough Brewing, Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery, Discretion Brewing, Shanty Shack Brewing, Fort Point Brewing, Original Pattern Brewing and Lagunitas.

In addition John Locke owner of Birichino will personally pour several of his favorite wines.
