Considered the preeminent jazz vocalist in Scandinavia, Sinne Eeg’s exquisite live performances have earned her fans around the world. Four of her albums have won for Best Vocal Jazz Album of the Year at the Danish Music Awards in 2007, 2010, 2014, and 2015. She is the only vocalist to receive the Ben Webster Prize (named for American jazz icon Ben Webster) in its 30-year history. Influenced by American jazz greats Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughn and Betty Carter, Eeg's subtle yet distinctive tone and expressive phrasing has grown a loyal international fan base from her tours in Europe, China, Japan, and the USA. Eeg also incorporates a “Scandinavian melancholy” into her music, yielding a distinct musical voice steeped in jazz tradition, yet pushing the music into a direction all her own.
