Senderos Street Fiesta Downtown Santa Cruz

Free Cooper Street Fiesta from 5-7pm with Oaxacan food, music and dance to mark the beginning of the traditional Vive Oaxaca Guelaguetza festivities. The Senderos community of musicians and dancers will arrive in a convite/procession at Cooper Street, downtown Santa Cruz at 5PM. Colorful folkloric dancing by Senderos' Centeotl Danza y Baile who will be accompanied by Senderos' Ensamble Musical and visiting student musicians from Centro de Integración Social (CIS #8), Zoogocho, Oaxaca, renowned for their traditional Banda de Viento music. Put on your dancing shoes!
