About Santa Cruz Young Makers Club

A flexible club bringing together a community of young people with mentors and a space to make. Participants work together to design and create a youth-chosen project. The club is lead by Sasha, a young maker mentor, who has been on panels at Intel, Pearson Learning, Pixar and Bay Area Maker Faire, and Young Makers. She has won awards at Synopsys Silicon Valley Science and Technology Championship and Santa Cruz County Science & Engineering Fair. She was recently published in National Geographic Magazine January 2017 issue. Club meets the second Tuesday of each month, February through May. Registration required.
