About Santa Cruz Greek Festival 2015

The Santa Cruz Greek Festival is entering its 34th year as the longest running festival in all of Santa Cruz County. The popularity of this festival is due in large part to the delicious and authentic Greek food, made on the premises of the Prophet Elias Greek Church. A small and devoted community creates a variety of Greek foods such as moussaka, roasted lamb shank, calamari and pastitsio, as well as numerous vegetarian selections. The ingredients are sourced locally, and organic is emphasized when available. The dessert selection is vast, and includes traditional baklava to new items like Chocolate Baklava Cheesecake. The Kafenio serves thick Greek coffee or whips up authentic Greek Frappe, prepared to order. Best of all, a live bouzouki band plays all day into the night. Enjoy great food, Greek spirits, and watch the Greek Dancers who come from all over the Bay Area, or better yet, join in and live like a Greek for a day!  For more information visit www.livelikeagreek.com
