Santa Cruz Food Truck Event

The second big Food Truck Event of the Summer in Santa Cruz (in a series of four) is happening on Friday, July 28th at San Lorenzo Park! This free event is a collaboration between the City of Santa Cruz, FOPAR (Friends of Parks and Recreation) and Food Trucks A Go Go.

The first event was quite popular with over 1,300 people attending. This month's Beer and Wine Garden will feature local favorites Discretion Brewing and Alfaro Family Vineyards.

The theme is Recreation, to celebrate July's Recreation Month! Fun Summer camp games are happening from 5-6pm, followed by a performance by Stellaria Entertainment at 6:30. The City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation will be selling their merchandise from past events and activities for 50% off.

Dinner and drink service is from 5 - 8pm. The food truck vendors are: Saucey'z, Lindsey's, Zameen, Drunk Monkeys, G's, Carmona's, The Organic Taco & Aunt LaLi's. For more information, follow @foodtrucksagogo on social media and go to their website: foodtrucksagogo.com.

There is plenty of open space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the evening, play lawn games and relax. People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets – plus there will also be tables and chairs.

The next Food Truck events at San Lorenzo Park are August 18 and September 29.
