Session 1 - Intro to Rope Bondage for Sex

Expand your erotic landscape with sensual rope bondage. Create sexual energy with the power of restraint. In this introductory class, Tom Foolery will show you several useful, easy-to-use, captivating knots and ties so you can launch into your own rope scenes. This class is for anyone who wants to try out rope in the bedroom. Special emphasis will be given on how to use rope before and during sexual play.

We will dive deep into: rope selection, safety, wrist ties, chest harnesses, and all the things you will want to know to make your rope adventures sexy and successful. There will be hands-on practice to show you how to safely and sensually tie someone up step-by-step. Plenty of one-on-one help will be provided. Leave this class with knowledge of basic rope skills and heaps of excitement to start exploring on your own.

Session 2 -Creating Sexy Scenes with Bondage
7:00-9:00pm $25 advance/$30 at the door* (both sessions $40 advance)

Building on what we covered in the afternoon, this class includes additional ties and techniques to add to your repertoire. You will learn how to decoratively tie someone up and even tie them to things like chairs or beds. Additional practice and drills will be included so you can learn to move smoothly and confidently during your rope scenes.

We will cover more details about how to add exciting rope play into your love life. Rope scenes contain physical and psychological elements. This workshop will cover how to combine these together and create great energy and pleasure in the bedroom. There will be lots of information on the finer points of rope work so that using rope is made easier and more effective. With this extra practice and knowledge, you can start to transition from dealing with the technical aspects of rope to being able to focus on your partner and creating an erotic environment for both of you.

These classes are open to individuals and couples (and triads +) of all genders and orientations. We will work in pairs, so if you do not come with a partner, you will be paired with someone in the class.

Note: We encourage guests to bring their own rope. We will also have rope for sale at the store. If you bring your own rope, we suggest at least 2 pieces of 30 to 35 foot, 1/4 or 3/8-inch diameter rope. Also, bring 2 pieces of 10-foot rope if possible. It can be any kind you like, so long as it is soft to the touch, i.e. cotton, nylon, and polyester. It is best if the rope bends without forming a ‘loop’.

Instructor: Tom Foolery uses rope bondage and suspension to express himself artistically. His 14 years as a rigger have included photo shoots, workshops, performances and play in Seattle, LA, Portland, SF and at Burning Man, among other places. He finds rope work intellectually, creatively, spiritually and aesthetically rewarding. His style is a fusion of different techniques and is always growing and changing.
