Riveting original music from New Zealand to Groovesville

About Riveting original music from New Zealand to Groovesville

Jackie Bristow : At once heartfelt and sophisticated, Jackie Bristow combines subtle but beautiful melodies and hooks that hypnotise the listener, demand complete surrender and then stick around with the backbone of a real friend.

?Born in New Zealand but then transplanted to Australia and now the United States with a guitar, suitcase and songs, Jackie travels light but packs a heavy punch. Jackie has had the honor to be the opening act for many of her musical heros. July 2016 Jackie opened for the Steve Miller Band in the US. Opening for Bonnie Raitt in New Zealand on her 2013 "Slipstream" tour was a dream-come-true. Jackie also did a lengthy tour opening for internationally-acclaimed guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel in 2011.

Michael On Fire : From his beginnings as a songwriter and artist signed by the late-great Don Davis to Groovesville Music working out of Detroit's famed United Sound Studios, to his earliest recordings with the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section (“The Swampers”) at Muscle Shoals Sound, to his musical explorations with his progressive jazz group, Prismatic, to his time spent in L.A. and Nashville, gigging constantly and making records with the likes of Stephen Stills, Joe Vitale, Daniel Lazerus, and many other great producers and musicians, to his many years of non-stop grass-roots touring through every nook and cranny of the country, and right on through to his new two-album set, Michael On Fire has been relentless in his commitment to creative expression and musical performance.
