Rhododendrons 101

On Saturday, September 16, 2017, from 10 AM to Noon, at the San Lorenzo Garden Center, 235 River Street, Santa Cruz, California 95060, please join gardening experts of the Monterey Bay Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society for a discussion of best practices for planting and growing rhododendrons and other types of plants. We will discuss planting, irrigation, and pest control issues, as well as any other related questions you may have concerning your garden.
Featured will be information from Jerry Harris (a long time Ben Lomond rhododendron grower who hybridizes award winning deciduous azalea hybrids), John Goolsby (A Boulder Creek authority on many types of plants), and Mike McCullough (A San Jose rhododendron authority who for many years gardened his mother’s Aptos rhododendron garden).
