About Reptiles and Amphibians Talk and Walk
Explore the fascinating variety of reptiles and amphibians found throughout Santa Cruz County, from the common to the rarely seen, with a talk and guided walk by herpetologist Lawrence Erickson. We will cover what makes each individual species unique, what a “herp” is, and where they live. The talk will be followed by a field trip to observe some of the common herpetofauna of Big Basin in their natural environment. Meet at the old lodge. For more information, call (831) 338-8883. Event free. Vehicle day use fee is $10.
