City Project Tour 12:15 to 12:45 pm

This project will replace approximately 7500 lineal feet of existing clay sewer pipeline with new PVC pipeline. The existing clay pipe has deteriorated, resulting in groundwater infiltration and root intrusion. Existing brick manholes will be replaced with new concrete manholes, some sewer laterals will be replaced from the main pipe to the sidewalk and cleanouts will be installed in the sidewalk. The project will identify and target sewer lines impacted by high storm water infiltration and inflow, obstructions and other deficiencies, improve wastewater flow capacity, maintain an excellent environmental compliance record, and reduce treatment costs.

Sr. Civil Engineer Steve Wolfman will lead the tour and answer questions.
