Join us in the South Seas!
Sail away to the South Pacific and put on your muu-muus, aloha shirts and flip flops for an amazing evening of Hawaiian and South Pacific dining, dancing and music surrounded by flowers and tropical fragrance - without the jet lag! A fundraiser for ministry programs of Peace United Church of Christ. The event will be held in the Fellowship Hall, 900 High Street, Santa Cruz on Saturday, May 19, 2018, 5:30-9:00 pm.
There will be live music and dancers from Te Hau Nui School of Hula and Tahitian Dance.
The luau menu will include Kalua Pork, Poi and Lomi Lomi Salmon, Maui Chicken, Hawaii Kine Macaroni Salad, Rice, Fresh Fruits and coconut pudding and pineapple cake for desert.
The festivities begin at 5:30 with pupus (appetizers) and a complimentary Mai Tai. Additional mai tais, fine wine and craft beer as well as non-alcoholic beverages will be sold at a cash bar.
The buffet dinner will be served from 6:30-7:30, followed by a program of entertainment featuring Te Hau Nui Dancers from 7:30-8:30.
A raffle for Hawaiian pineapples and other items will add to the fun.
All guests receive a fresh flower lei, complementing the Polynesian theme decorations.
Purchase tickets at www. eventbrite.com $75 adults, ($80 at the door), $20 children (6-12), and $500 for a table of 8 (a savings of $100).
