Planet Booty @ Santa Cruz Music Festival

Planet Booty is comprised of long-time best friends, Dylan Charles Germick (vocals, trumpet, beats), Josh Cantero (vocals, keyboard, trombone) and Rob Gwin (bass, percussion, software). Planet Booty originated as the side project of Germick and his older brother. After the success of their first full-length album, Planet Booty, the duo added Cantero and Gwin to the lineup. They went on to release their EP, Success, allowing them to gain further recognition from local outlets, such as, Bay Bridged, The Daily Californian and Sacramento News and Review. In 2014, Germick’s brother left the group, marking the official birth of the three-piece group known today. Following the new lineup, the trio released their second full-length album, FUTURESWEAT, via Aerobic International, and had the opportunity to perform at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
