Pet Grief Support Group

BirchBark Foundation is grateful for a new partnership with Family Services Agency to facilitate this Group. This Grief Support group is for pet owners dealing with the grief of losing their loving family pets. Our pets are family members & cherished companions. Often when faced with saying goodbye it is difficult to express our sadness.

The group will meet every Tuesday at 6:30pm to 8:00pm. This will be a Drop-in Group no registration required, however, please call to let us know you'll be attending.

NEW LOCATION: Family Service Agency of the Central Coast

104 Walnut Avenue, Rm 212, Santa Cruz (between the Walnut Avenue Café and Stephans' Jewelry store, near corner of Pacific Avenue).

Facilitator: Stephen Otto is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with Family Service Agency of the Central Coast. Highly attuned to both the challenges and opportunities loss brings us, he previously served as a grief support counselor at Hospice of Santa Cruz County. A ?Full biography is available on request.

The goal of this support group will be to share with others your stories, feelings and challenges. Sharing our sadness and grief helps the healing happen. We are there to help support your process.
