About Permaculture Action Day

Join Beats Antique for a Permaculture Action Day at the Homeless Garden Project’s farm the Saturday after the Beats Antique @ The Catalyst Halloween show in Santa Cruz.

We’ll gather at the Homeless Garden Project Farm on the corner of Shaffer Rd. & Delaware Ave. from 10am-2pm, Saturday, November 4th. Come enjoy a day of hands-on regenerative projects, music, shared food, workshops, and taking action as a community.

Projects will include preparing the farm for winter and seeding winter cover crops, identifying and removing noxious weeds, mulching and beautifying paths and garden beds, painting educational signage for the farm, and making adobe bricks for a chicken hutch.
