About Peace Corps Special Event: Earth Day Gardening

Join us for the Earth Day gardening day in Santa Cruz at the Homeless Garden Project! A social gathering to share stories, learn about Peace Corps Volunteer experiences, and celebrate Earth while gardening. Anyone interested in becoming a Peace Corps Volunteer is encouraged to attend and learn more about the work and commitment of Peace Corps Volunteers, and how they make a difference in the lives of others and their own.

Please wear closed-toe shoes (required to volunteer at the garden). We recommend that you also wear sunscreen, a hat, layers, bring a water bottle and if you have garden gloves please bring them. You're responsible for bringing your own lunch and/or snacks. The farm is located on Shaffer Road at Delaware Ave. on the west side of Santa Cruz near Natural Bridges State Park and the Long Marine Lab. The 3 and 20 bus lines stop nearby. CLICK HERE for a map.
