About Normal People Scare Me Too: A Film About Autism

We are excited to present this must see film for one night only in Santa Cruz. Filmed, produced and created by primarily an autistic crew. Co-producer Keri Bowers states, "The movie has an autistic crew filming an autistic man interviewing autistic people”

Co-created and directed by Taylor Cross and Keri Bowers, and produced by Joey Travolta, Normal People Scare Me Too is inspired by the past and driven by the future. The sequel to the film Normal People Scare Me. A decade later, Normal People Scare Me Too defines a new generation in autism. Taylor asks such questions as “What’s hard for you?” “What are you really good at?” and of course “Do normal people scare you?” We’ve come a long way since then with answers that will surely amaze and transform the way we percieve so-called “normal.”

Bring tissue; and be prepared to laugh and cry.

Film to be followed by Q&A with co-producer, Keri Bowers. Community drawing and bake sale in between. Event is benefit for Global Autism Project: https://www.globalautismproject.org/skillcorps/
