About New To Brew - Homebrew Class - Rail Trail IPA

Have you ever wondered how brewers combine grain, hops, yeast and water to make delicious beer? Ever thought of making some yourself? Join us on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 11am to 2pm to discover how in our New To Brew - Beginner Homebrewing class!

SCMB staff will lead attendees though a hands-on homebrewing session while we brew a 5 gallon batch of RAIL TRAIL IPA using a cominbation of grain and malt extract. Students will have a chance to tour the facilities and learn about the production brewing process. Finally, trained staff members will discuss recipe development, while leading guests though a tour of the brewery and complimentary beer tasting.

This class is open to anyone over 21 years of age. It is designed as an introductory class and is suitable for those with zero brewing experience as well as intermediate-level brewers who are looking to expand their homebrewing knowledge.

We will be offering homebrew indredient kits for a clone of our RAIL TRAIL IPA and homebrew books for sale before and during the class.
