Monthly Davenport Main Beach Cleanup

ARE YOU ADVENTUROUS?

Save Our Shores weekly Davenport Main Beach cleanups target highly polluted areas–including caves, beaches, rivers, and inland dump sites.

We recommend that all volunteers bring boots because Davenport Beach is only accessible down a rocky slope. Please dress in layers, wear sun protection, and bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

All of Save Our Shores’ cleanups happen rain or shine. Remember, everything flows to the ocean, so it’s especially important to clean our Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary beaches during rain storms.

Meet us at the beach parking lot directly across from the Whale City Bakery and Highway 1… But just in case there’s no one there to greet you, head on down to the beach across past the railroad tracks and look for volunteers with cleanup supplies. We’re difficult to miss!
