About MENtors Driving Change for Boys, Men & Dads Conference

A 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Santa Cruz County, MENtors is dedicated to serving and supporting boys, young men, men, dads. We want to transform the current dominant paradigm that results in toxic masculinity. We believe that boys, men and fathers can have healthier social and emotional development. Our work is focused on enriching awareness, engagement, and connection with oneself, family and community. MENtors is freshly minted yet rooted in the lifelong work of, Deutron Kebebew, the previous project director of PAPAS for over a decade.

Our day-long interactive conference will help strengthen our interconnected communities, ignite inspiration in the work you already do and scale impact for driving change for boys, men, and dads.

Any professional or practitioner that provides services or resources either directly or indirectly with boys, men, and dads in Santa Cruz County would greatly benefit from this conference.

Desired outcomes:
--Understanding current community efforts toward boys, men, and dads to establish a community baseline
--Identifying local resources and support toward boys, men, and dads to map
--Highlighting the gaps, bias, and barriers boys, men, and dads identify and face in our community
