Memorial Day Holiday Relief Cleanup

Memorial Day Weekend attracts lots of people to our beaches, lots of awesome parties, and lots of garbage left behind. This special cleanup is a part of our 2016 Holiday Relief Program to mitigate beach trash and provide pollution prevention outreach on Memorial, Independence, and Labor Day.

Save Our Shores pollution outreach and beach cleanup locations:

– Del Monte City Beach, Monterey:
Pollution Outreach: Sat, May 28th (time TBD)
Cleanup: Tues, May 31st from 9am-11am

– Cowell/Main Beach, Santa Cruz
Cleanup: Sun, May 29th from 9am-11am
Pollution Outreach: Mon, May 30th from noon-4pm
Cleanup: Tues, May 31st from 9am-11am

– Davenport Main Beach, Santa Cruz
Cleanup: Sun, May 29th from 9am-11am

– Panther Beach, Santa Cruz
Cleanup: Tues, May 31st from 9am-11am

– Seabright State Beach, Santa Cruz
Cleanup: Tues, May 31st from 9am-11am

– Twin Lakes State Beach, Santa Cruz
Cleanup: Tues, May 31st from 9am-11am

Please dress in layers, wear sun protection, and bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Cleanups will happen rain or shine.
